Commemorating the 65th Anniversary of the Attack on PEARL HARBOR
1941 Chevrolet® U.S. Hickam Air Field Flatbed
1941 U.S. Willys Army Jeep

MotorMint allowed me to review their 1:32 tribute in die-cast metal to two American-made workhorse vehicles that efficiently moved our men and supplies during WWII. These die-cast I have seen on tv, as I am sure many of us have, at an incredibly low price and asked ourselves, how good could they be? Well I am here to tell you they are a good value for the money. They are made of a good quality metal, with a respectable level of paint thickness. For the price of these die-cast, you cannot go wrong. The truck is a 1941 Chevrolet® Flatbed, which has a high level of detail, right down to the shifter. Underneath the truck the detail level is not as high, but very well done. The only detractions I could find were, the doors opened with a slight amount of difficulty also the tow chain was a bit too long, and seemed to be slightly out of scale. The Jeep a 1941 U.S. Willys Army Jeep, has an incredible level of detail; detail like this is not found on die-cast that are twice the price. The jeep also would lend itself to become a slot car with very little effort in my mind. Overall, I would give this set a rating of 8 on a 1-10 scale. For the price, check it out yourself…you will not be disappointed.
